For me, yoga is a path to inner truth. It describes the way of being mindful of myself and everything that surrounds me. It teaches us to discover ourselves, to remain true to this self, to live in gratitude, to become calm, to meet others unconditionally and to accept what is. Through my yoga, I have experienced how much joy it can bring to get to know the facets that make up yoga. That's why I want to pass on the yogic idea. I began my yoga journey in 2013 when I started with Ashtanga yoga to find a balance to my very competitive life of studying, working and dancing. On the mat, I underwent a transformation with every new asana: Not only was I able to get to know my body and its needs in a completely different way, but I could also feel myself becoming calmer and more balanced inside. In flowing, free vinyasa yoga, I finally found myself. I learnt that yoga is not a competition and has no goal, but brings me into harmony with my body, my thoughts, my emotions, my breath and my soul. hat I appreciate about yoga is that it helps me to accept my emotions and thoughts and to create a place in my practice that I can return to again and again.

As a yoga teacher, I want to be able to pass on this immersion in the here and now to all my students. With visualisations, challenging asanas and challenging but also soft flows and yin yoga practice, I want to show that it is wonderful to get to know and respect yourself and your limits. This allows us to experience self-acceptance. I turn my classes into a physical and mental journey. I follow the teachings of Kassandra Reinhardt, Madhura Bhagwat and my wonderful local teachers. I currently teach regularly in a local yoga studio, in private lessons and in after-work classes in larger companies and institutions.
