Nicole has been a yoga practitioner for over 12 years and credits the practice with helping her to not only develop a deeper connection with her mind and body, but allowing her to cultivate love, kindness, and patience during challenging times. She was inspired to become a yoga teacher so that she might share the benefits of yoga with people of all ages.
Nicole aims to provide a supportive, safe, and creative environment for students to explore and connect with themselves. She enjoys incorporating classical hatha yoga elements into her classes with adults and teens, such as chanting and pranayama. In her youth classes, she loves to integrate her education and experience as a librarian and visual artist, including opportunities for children to create art, learn early literacy skills, and participate in storytelling.
Off the mat, she loves to read, paint, travel, kayak, and spend time with animals (especially cats).
