My yoga journey beginning in my childhood when my father started teaching me yoga yoga. He himself had taken Deeksha from Munger school of Yoga and his language of instruction was Maithili which also happens to be my mother tongue. After completion of my high school, I joined my academy where yoga was formally taught to me by the instructors from the Army Institute of physical training, Pune. Their language of instruction was Hindi, in case of non-commissioned officers and English in case of junior commission and commission officers. I continued the journey when I joined my unit. Where Ustad Jagroop taught me the same in Punjabi and finally I completed my yoga teachers training online while I was in Delhi. Apart from all the above, I also happened to be an alumni of Morarji Desai national Institute of Yoga, from where I did the course in Pranic healing .
