I started attending yoga classes in Cambridge in the early 2000’s. I felt like I had found something very special, a place where I belonged and where I could move my body with attention in ways that helped me feel better. My regular personal practice grew from there. During 2020 I discovered just how much yoga could support me in difficult times and my personal practice deepened as I created time each day to practice, and noticed how even the simple act of sitting with deliberate attention and care could help me ride the waves of my emotions.
I have mostly practiced Iyengar or Hatha yoga styles. I trained with BarefootBody Training in Cambridge and qualified in December 2023.
I now teach classes in Foxton, Cambridgeshire on a Wednesday.
