Lisa began her yoga journey in earnest in 2009 undertaking the 200-hour yoga teacher training with Diane Donovan at BodyWorks. In 2016 she formally completed the course by which time she wanted to guide others in their yoga journey.

In 2022 Lisa returned to Costa Rica to complete her 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training at the Nexus Institute in Nosara Guanacaste Costa Rica.

Lisa is passionate about making yoga available to all for application in everyday life, be that a career in the corporate world or specific sport practices especially running and jiu jitsu.

Lisa’s approach to yoga, as taught to her by Diane Donovan, is to connect with students, to tune into what they already consciously or subconsciously know they need (either verbalized or explained by them or demonstrated in their bodies or energy). The practice is primarily derived from Hatha yoga. Making yoga accessible to those who can benefit from it (almost everyone) means being open to everyone’s journey in each moment.

Lisa has taught yoga for 6 years primarily at Bodyworks in the Cayman Islands.
