Rachel Rinker is a Registered 200-hour Yoga Teacher (RYT200) with Yoga Alliance, completing her yoga teacher training with Buti Yoga. Rachel’s passion for movement, personal growth, and her love for creating mindful flow practices with anatomically intentional sequencing drove her to embarking in a one-week intensive, continued education course, where she achieved additional training certifications across all Buti Yoga class formats including Buti Yoga, Deep, Primal Flow, Sculpt, Buti Bands, and HotCore. Rachel believes that knowledge is power and continually challenges herself to advance her practice and the practice of her students through ongoing continued education. Her commitment to herself and the collective is, “I will never stop learning and growing.” Like Albert Einstein once said, “When you cease to learn, you cease to grow. And when you cease to grow, you cease to improve, get better, move forward and just sort of begin to – exist.”
Rachel loves all aspects of health, movement, and fitness, but her passion for yoga and the ability to provide her students a safe and welcoming environment where everyBODY is empowered to nourish their minds, bodies, and spirit began following her breast cancer diagnosis in late 2017. Following a two-part surgery to remove and reconstruct her breasts, Rachel was on a mission to find an organic means of healing where she partnered with an Integrative Medicine Oncologist who recommended yoga. Shortly after, Rachel began her yoga journey where she was then introduced to Buti Yoga in late 2018. A combination of Rachel’s familiar movement practice “HIIT” (high intensity interval training) fused with breathwork, yoga asanas, primal movement, shaking and vibration, Kundalini, and deep muscle strength and conditioning – Rachel knew she found what she was looking for in a yoga practice. “This feeling, the safe container we create, and the energy we move is like no other I’ve experienced.” Rekindling the balance between mind, body, spirit, movement, and stillness, her love and deeper connection for yoga quickly drove her to embarking on her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2019. “Buti Yoga has enabled me with the deepest of healing, a sense of identity, and to truly discover what is most important in my life – now it’s my purpose to help everyBODY experience the same.”
