Kim is a E-RYT 200 Yoga Alliance registered teacher. She  is passionate about yoga and the journey of the practice, she strives to bring that passion, encouragement and joy to her students and the community. Modifications with props and assists are important to her teaching style. Completing her 200-hour Yoga certification at Holy Yoga under the guidance of founder Brooke Boone and currently pursuing her 300-hour advanced training to be completed this year. Kim enjoys various forms of Yoga, including Hatha, Aerial, Ashtanga, Yin, Restorative, and Vinyasa Yoga. Growing up southeast IA her practice was very personal with no classes available, since the 1990s explosion of western yoga she has pursued many classes and studios throughout the Midwest and Southeast regions. Her former career as a Certified Public Accountant focusing on corporate finance enriches her teaching of Yoga through understanding of work life stress and sharing yoga through poses, meditation and breath for balancing your life and nurturing your body and soul.
