As a recent graduate from Yoga North International SomaYoga Institute, I am honoured to bring the practices I have learnt to others while continuing to use them for my own care. I have spent most of my life in the countryside, close to nature, and shared its peace and tranquillity with visitors for the past fifteen years in our family run Bed and Breakfast. I first found Yoga in my late twenties and experienced over the years its health benefits. A recent injury in the pelvic floor has led me to deepen my practice and support it with the study of somayoga, a unique blend of somatic movement and classic asanas.

Now certified in Hatha Yoga of the Himalayan Tradition and SomaYoga Therapy, I am grateful for this opportunity to give back and guide others. My offerings centre in supporting people’s whole being wellbeing with a focus on gentle mindful movements to facilitate connection between mind, body and soul. I design classes to promote better ease of movement, to relieve physical tension and increase awareness of our own ability to sense our body from within. I offer small group and one-on-one sessions at my home studio and online. I have a special interest in somatic practices and adaptive yoga to increase mobility, to relieve pain and to cultivate self-agency over one's own well-being.

Living yoga everyday brings me a lot joy and freedom. I have experienced how the practices nurture the mind body connection and increase the ability to sense and feel from within, the ability to hear and trust the messages given by our body, so we can make better compassionate choices. And while now teaching, I continue enjoying studying and approaching each practice as if it was the first time.
