I have been practicing and teaching yoga for the better part of 12 years. In 2014 I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher certification through Jacqui Bonwell’s Sacred Seeds program. Since then, I have completed a 20-hour foundational training in Trauma Sensitive Yoga with the Center for Trauma and Embodiment, as well as a 40-hour training in Yin Yoga with Sagel Urlacher. In addition to teaching in studio settings, I have also crafted custom classes and retreats for adults and teens at various educational institutions, businesses, and after-school programs. I am currently enrolled in a massage therapy program at the Spa Tech Institute in Westbrook, Maine.
It is my belief that we all have a divine purpose and spark that can guide us to our highest level of being if we are willing to find stillness and listen to our own inner knowing. The ancient practice of yoga is an incredible tool to help us access that deep intuition, and thanks to the service and wisdom of many teachers across centuries, it is a practice that has evolved and adapted to meet our needs and help us grow, here and now. In my classes, I strive to use precise, intentional queuing to craft light-hearted classes that will leave you feeling calm, strong and integrated.
