Anthony Sutterman is a passionate Yoga teacher and practitioner based in Brussels. His Yoga journey began in college as a means of staying fit, but it evolved into a profound exploration of self-discovery and personal growth during a transformative year spent in Mexico. Inspired by the impact of Yoga on his own life, Anthony embarked on a dedicated path, eventually graduating from Yoga Teacher College, Barcelona, under the guidance of Lucas Rockwood, a direct student of Pattabhi Jois.
With a specialization in Vinyasa and a love for strong and dynamic classes, Anthony also teaches slower-paced sessions and Hatha Yoga. He believes in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for his students, allowing them to explore their inner world and cultivate self-awareness. Anthony's teachings are rooted in Yogic philosophy, mindfulness, breathing techniques, positive psychology, and Taoism. As a Usui lineage Reiki master, he brings a holistic approach to his practice and teaching.
Anthony's journey as a Yoga teacher began immediately after completing his 200-hour training, and he has since taught in various settings, including universities, hospitals, private companies, and local government-led sport programs. Currently working as a yoga teacher and studio manager at Brussels Yoga Loft, Anthony continues to expand his knowledge and skills. He offers trainings, including Yin Yoga Teacher Training, deepening courses, and 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training.
Through his classes and workshops, Anthony strives to create a safe space where students can befriend themselves, let go of what no longer serves them, and walk through life with confidence. He believes in the transformative power of Yoga and aims to make the journey enjoyable for his students, emphasizing the importance of having fun along the way.
Anthony's dedication to his craft extends beyond the classroom, as Yoga is an integral part of his everyday life. Constantly seeking growth and learning, he devotes time to personal practice, exploring new poses, stretching, and delving into Yoga philosophy. Anthony is also planning to pursue additional training to obtain his 500-hour certification, further enriching his teaching and connection with his students.
Join Anthony on the mat and embark on a transformative Yoga journey that combines physical movement, mindfulness, and self-exploration, ultimately empowering you to live with authenticity and joy.
