Marina started practicing yoga in 2014 during her senior year of college at Lila Yoga studio in her hometown in Pennsylvania. Blessed with an incredible group of teachers, she was immediately drawn to yoga because of its holistic approach to the union of mind, body, and spirit. It was always a dream of hers to be able to share the gifts of yoga with others, and she is thrilled to be able to do just that after completing her 200hr yoga teacher training with Bloom Yoga Studio in 2023.

Over the past decade, Marina has continued to deepen her yoga practice as a way to sustain her work in the immigrant and refugee rights space. This work has simultaneously impacted her approach to teaching through a trauma-informed lens. Marina’s intention in each class is to hold space for her students, and to create the conditions that allow each student to tap into deep connection with themselves through healthy alignment, developing both strength and flexibility, and integrating breathwork, Yogic philosophy, and meditation.
