Katie (she/her), RYT 200, discovered a love of yoga in 2001 when searching for ways to incorporate meditation and movement into her life to reduce stress and minimize migraines. She has explored and enjoyed a variety of types and styles of yoga, finding vinyasa flow as a style she returns to again and again for her personal practice.
In her classes, Katie strives to create a balance of fluid breath-based movement, strength of body and mind, and refreshing energy in a friendly and inclusive environment.
When not on the mat, Katie works for a global educational non-profit organization. She also enjoys spending time with family, appreciating nature, and creatively crafting.
