Alison's journey began in her teens with a deep interest in spirituality, meditation, and Eastern thought. She experienced her first yoga class in 2008 while volunteering at a meditation retreat center. When the class ended she recalls feeling a humming/buzzing inside, a feeling of calm as if all the layers of her being were finally in tune and playing in harmony. That feeling is what brought her back to yoga again and again.

In 2019, Alison completed her 200 hour certification with the Holistic Yoga School in Fort Collins with a desire to deepen her own spiritual practice and begin to share the many beautiful benefits of yoga with others. In 2023 she completed a Meditation Teacher certification with OmAnanda Yoga. Through her own teaching and sharing of these practices she wishes to guide others into the fullness of their experience and create the space for body, mind, and spirit to come back into harmony.

Through slow flow style classes with a focus on breath and alignment, Alison enjoys helping people to connect more deeply with their physical experience, to develop more awareness of their bodies, to move with intention, and become more embodied. She sees the body, and movement, and feeling as beautiful gateways into presence, the true essence of being- the space and stillness in which it all arises. She believes our state of being, rather than our state of doing, is what truly elevates consciousness and brings change to the world, and the practice of yoga is one which allows us to return to our ground of being, to rediscover the space, the peace, the harmony and joy which is our true nature.
