I'm Filipe Lima, a proud father of two and a Yoga Certified
Teacher. My journey into yoga commenced when I was
living in the Middle East and traveled to Sri Lanka, seeking
a slower pace of life. Over the following decade, I delved
into learning from various teachers. Notably, I studied
under the esteemed Manel Rodrigues at the Manu School
of Yoga, earning certification in the Precision & Flow
Method. Additionally, I absorbed wisdom from diverse
mentors, including Guru Sri Dharma Mitthra in New York.
In my earlier years, I worked in the Marketing and Event
industry. However, the fast-paced lifestyle took a toll on
me, resulting in burnouts and anxiety. Seeking a more
connected life, I consciously decided to leave that behind
and embrace a simpler, more humble existence focused
on myself, my family, and others.
As I explored the foundational aspects of Pranayama, I
became a certified Breathwork Teacher under the
guidance of Michaël Bijker and later proudly joined the
International Breathwork Foundation. Shaped by
teachings and personal experiences, my journey has led
to a deep fascination with understanding the layers of the
mind and body. I work with individuals ranging from
those navigating the daily 9-to-5 grind to people facing
challenges with depression and anxiety, as well as high-
performance athletes looking to enhance their focus and
emotions.
Over time, I've developed a profound interest in
comprehending the intricate layers of the mind and body,
from the subtle to the outer layers. This journey has
empowered me to overcome and put into perspective the
daily challenges of human life on a personal level. The
synthesis of asanas, Breathwork, and meditation forms
the puzzle of what we know as Yoga. It is this holistic
approach that I am enthusiastic about sharing with all my
students.
