Adelay Elizabeth Witherite is the owner of Bootsey's Healing Retreat, an off-grid ashram in Pennsylvania, where she teaches small group classes and workshops. She also teaches private hatha yoga sessions in southeast Michigan and online. Adelay is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) who earned certification from Léah Purugganan-Slagenwhite's Starseed Wisdom Yoga.
Adelay's yoga journey began thirteen years ago, when a sangha recommended ashtanga yoga for self-healing, endurance-building, and practicing mindful presence. Adelay practiced yoga for five years in Gyeonggi and Gyeongnam, South Korea, and she earned her yoga teaching qualifications in Canton, Michigan, and Tampa, Florida.
Besides teaching yoga, Adelay also teaches college writing.
