My yoga journey began over 20 years ago in some of the original hot yoga studios of Los Angeles after an invitation from a friend. I found yoga to be a great way to release tension and focus inward. Later, I was fortunate to become friends with an instructor who coached and guided me. I practiced off and on in the ensuing years. In 2019, I relocated to my hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee. After attending a class at Renegade Yoga Center, I knew I had found my yoga home and began attending classes regularly. I soon took a position as a part time front desk attendant. I absolutely loved being at Renegade, greeting clients, welcoming newcomers, and helping to guide others on their own yoga journey. In 2020, I became the manager of the studio and took on responsibilities from administration to programming of classes and workshops, management of staff and clientele, curation of social media accounts and marketing, and development of retail offerings. In 2022, I was granted a partnership in the business and am now a partial owner. I completed my RYT 200 under the tutelage of our Renegade Yoga Institute teacher training facilitators and mentors; my business partner and lead instructor Philip Clift, E-RYT 500 YACEP, and Kachelle Steigerwald, E-RYT 500. I am excited to soon begin our RYT 300 program to achieve RYT 500 certification. I am so incredibly blessed to have found myself in this life and I look forward to continuing the expansion of my knowledge and sharing the gifts of yoga. Namaste´
