I am Mirjam, RYT 200 :)
Passionate about movement and grounded in yoga, I have pursued athletic endeavours since my adolescence, particularly in (beach) volleyball. As a former member of Austria's youth, junior, and women's national teams, I learned the importance of nurturing both my body and mind to maintain focus. Physical challenges and constant growth are integral to my life.
Balancing my roles as a lawyer and mother of two, yoga has evolved into my steadfast anchor amid the daily hustle. In 2022, life and love carried me to Perth, Australia, where I delved deeper into my yoga practice and fulfilled my long-standing dream of completing a Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) in Bali. This transformative experience, shared with my daughter, gifted me cherished memories, self-discovery, and elevated my yoga practice.
To me, yoga represents the ultimate holistic exercise, fostering fitness, happiness, and resilience during life's most challenging moments. I prefer practicing Power Vinyasa Yoga with upbeat music, as the combination of flowing asanas and breathwork challenges me physically while also bringing inner peace and balance. On one hand, it demands strength from my body, and on the other hand, it leads to a sense of inner calm and serenity. By undertaking the YTT, I gained invaluable knowledge of proper alignment in yoga poses (Asanas), which I eagerly impart to my students with enthusiasm and dedication. Yoga is a simple yet profound path toward a joyful, healthy, and fulfilled life. It's a privilege to accompany others on their yoga journey and traverse this path together.
