I have been teaching Ashtanga Yoga, specializing in Mysore Style, for over 30 years and am one of only 40 Advanced Teachers Certified by Pattabhi Jois (the only one in Israel). Author of the influential book Guruji: A Portrait of Pattabhi Jois, I was director of the Ashtanga Yoga Shala in New York for 25 years and am now based in Karkur, Israel.
I have also been the student of Dr KLS Jois (also Mysore based) for many years - through him I have been sharing a practice similar to the Ashtanga Yoga of Pattabhi Jois, but geared towards spiritual practice. This gentler practice integrates asana, pranayamas, mudras and meditation.
My passion has always been philosophy and this is something I have studied in depth and love to share.
