Nicole is a freelance Toronto based yoga teacher and her personal mission is to enrich the lives of others and help them find balance and harmony in their everyday lives. She believes as you learn to become mindful and aware you will learn that awareness is your friend. Just as we are mindful and aware of eating right we have a deep desire to live right.
Since leaving her corporate job in 2009 she has been leading full time yoga and fitness classes, workshops and eco-friendly yoga retreats, local and abroad. Her vision is to touch as many lives, kiddos to the wise with practices that nourish and empower others to live their most authentic lives. Finding ways to support the children and youth for a better future by tapping into their boundless potential to thrive day to day.
She is very passionate of all movement and has taught to a wide range of ages and abilities, from healthy children, youth and adults, to troubled youth in the justice system, to adults with movement disorders such as MS and Parkinson’s and mental disabilities such as Schizophrenia and intellectual learning disabilities. Her education spans wide, as a registered early childhood educator to a Sociology major to having over 10,000 of hours of teaching yoga, Pilates and other fitness modalities. Her vast experience and knowledge spans over two decades and the way she packages her learnings gives you kernels of valuable information that's empowering and from the heart.
Outside of teaching yoga, she leads an active lifestyle. Busy from morning to bedtime. Family time is important to her and spending time with her partner laughing and playing with their two young children. She loves learning, growing, connecting and making time to get grounded daily.
