Alice Park has dedicated her life to helping others realize their own full potential.

After graduating from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition as a Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP), she has been empowering and educating people to take control of their own physical health and make food and lifestyle choices that most optimizes their health. Through her clinical practice, she has counselled hundreds of clients through: decreasing inflammation and pain; restoring energy and improving sleep; losing excess fat and promoting muscle gain; balancing hormones; healing the gut and improving digestion; putting autoimmune conditions into remission; relieving allergy symptoms; supporting cardiovascular health; reversing diabetes and pre-diabetes; and safely detoxing different organ systems in the body. Outside of her practice, she offers educational workshops and classes, as well as group programs with uniquely aligned partners.

As a clinician of holistic and functional medicine, Alice Park understands very well that the body is designed as a self-repairing and self-regenerating system — that is if it is under a nurturing environment, guided by an empowered mind and a willing spirit. Hence, in order to help people realize their full potential, Alice pursued Yoga Teacher Training (Yoga Alliance Certified 200 hours) — the lineage of Kashmir Shaivism in an alignment based teaching method.

Yoga entered Alice’s life through her meditation practice when she learned that yoga embodies the mindful and intentional spirit of meditation into movements in the physical body. Throughout her adult life, yoga and meditation kept finding their way back to her during trying and challenging times to help her grow exponentially and deepen her sense of freedom, peace and sovereignty.

Once she has experienced the power of yoga and meditation to breathe through all the ebbs and flows of life with equanimity, and while witnessing the limitations of her work through nutritional counselling alone, Alice knew she wanted to incorporate yoga and meditation in her services. Alice teaches hatha yoga and meditation to hold space for people’s sadhana, their spiritual practice. She encourages a mindful and intentional practice as she combines alignment, intelligent adjustments and freedom of breath to guide through each pose, opening their sadhana to reach new heights.

Through her journey in motherhood, Alice’s interest in alternative education systems and early childhood development expanded into the knowledge field of yoga. She pursued trauma-sensitive children’s yoga teacher training (RCYT-115hr) and currently teaches families with babies, toddlers and young children about all the wonderful tools and wisdom from yoga. Children’s Yoga, when delivered in an empowering, inclusive and age-appropriate approach, can foster healthy life skills such as: fostering healthy relationships and boundaries; valuing intuitive wisdom and connecting with our hearts; increasing our awareness about our own strengths and those in others; encouraging emotional literacy and expression, as well as tools to process them in a healthy manner; and nursing resilience through self-care practices, especially for highly sensitive children.

All of Alice’s offerings can be accessed in the Greater Vancouver Area, where she currently resides with her husband and two children.

Alice holds the biggest gratitude in her pursuit of the art of balancing her life between the life calling to serve people realize their full potentials, and her deepest inner calling to serve her children as their mother.
