I have been practising yoga and pilates for over 20 years. I completed my initial Pilates training in 2004 in Toronto and then formalised my yoga training undertaking my 200 hour YTT in 2019 in Cambridge. I have completed further trainings in Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra and received my RYT 300 Hours in March 2023 from The Shala School of Yoga & Yoga Treat. I am also a Level 4 Back Pain and Exercise Referral Specialist Personal Trainer, and able to accept clients through NHS referral schemes, and work with clients suffering from chronic illness.
As a sufferer of a long term autoimmune illness, and hypermobility, I am particularly interested in using a fusion of yoga, pilates, strength training, relaxation and massage to support both physical and mental health. Through my work with my partner at Nomad Well-Being we aim to provide personalised programmes which incorporate different movement modalities to support health and well-being.
