Since 2007, my journey with yoga has been both profound and transformative. I delved into the practice earnestly, and in 2008, I took the step to share my passion by becoming a yoga teacher. My yoga journey began with a deep immersion into Kundalini Yoga at the School of Natural Medicine and Yoga Therapy in Toronto, ON, where I completed a rigorous 600-hour teacher training. The profound teachings of Kundalini Yoga continue to inform the essence of my teaching style.

Expanding my knowledge and practice, I pursued further training in Hatha/Vinyasa and obtained a prenatal yoga certificate from the Yoga Sanctuary. This endeavour culminated in a 250-hour Yoga Teacher Certificate recognized by the esteemed Yoga Alliance, enabling me to register as an instructor.

Returning to my roots in Timmins, I embarked on the incredible journey of motherhood, welcoming two daughters into my life in 2010 and 2016. This experience ignited a new facet of my yoga journey—the yoga of motherhood. Through its challenges and joys, I have found profound spiritual transformation, enriching my teaching and practice.

In 2012, I deepened my understanding with a 500-hour Certification in Integrated Health and Yoga under the guidance of Karen Claffey and her esteemed faculty. This comprehensive program equipped me with a strong foundation in alignment principles, enhancing my ability to support my students effectively.

Continuing to evolve, I am currently immersed in the teachings of Traditional Tantrik Yoga through Anuttara Yoga School in BC, further enriching my practice and teaching philosophy.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in authenticity, with a particular passion for guiding women through the various stages of life—pregnancy, birth, menstruation, and menopause. I find immense joy in helping women reconnect with their bodies, fostering love, joy, and appreciation for their natural cycles. I firmly believe in adapting yoga to embrace the inherent differences between men and women, honouring and supporting the unique experiences and needs of each individual throughout life's journey.
