Alexis Baden-Mayer is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. Alexis completed her 200 hour training and started teaching at Thrive Yoga in Rockville, MD, in 2022 and expects to complete her 300 hour training at Thrive in 2023. Prior to becoming a yoga teacher, Alexis taught ballet to children and beginner adults at the Alexandria Ballet and Joy of Motion for more than a decade. She was trained at the Washington Ballet, the San Francisco Ballet, Purchase College and the Merce Cunningham Studio. Her first and favorite ballet teacher is Virginia Britton.
