As a veteran of the U.S. Army and a developing counseling professional, I have found yoga (hot yoga) of the traditional 26/2, aka Hatha or Bikram practice, to be life-changing from the inside out. I learned that trauma lives throughout my body, and practicing yoga (in its many limbs) has and is teaching my body and mind to release those tensions, liberating my mind through connection. I obtained my certifications so that I can share the practice of yoga with others. I am currently teaching traditional 26/2 hot yoga since I obtained my certification in May 2022 at a couple of different studios in the South Puget Sound of Washington state, U.S. Also, I am currently (2022) learning how to effectively teach Yin yoga, gentle/ silver yoga, and Vinyassa/ Flo yoga classes.
