Jacqueline Toomey specializes in first responder wellness. She is the founder of the First Responder Sleep Recovery Program, an international training initiative for fire departments, police departments and other frontline organizations. Since 2016, she's been honored to teach over 5,000 first responders in 18 states and 3 Canadian provinces. She began her yoga journey in 2000, and taught her first yoga class in college in 2004. Before discovering her passion for first responder wellness, she supported the TBI/ SCI survivor community in Denver Colorado in adaptive yoga and hospital settings. She believes yoga is meant for all people and strives to make it accessible, relatable and profoundly transformative for all those she is blessed to work with. With the mentality of always being a student and practitioner first, Jacqueline has received approximately 1500 hours of Yoga Alliance approved certifications to support her specialty as a yoga teacher. Jacqueline lives in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado with her firefighter husband Sean and their animal rescue fur babies!
