Moving on a Yoga mat is like reading a good book; it is a way of escaping this world and getting lost on a different one.
When I used to think of Yoga, I imagined slow moving ninja-like individuals, and honestly, from the outside, the practice can still look exactly like that. But what I love about yoga is that it’s so much more than orchastrated movements or a sport to stay fit. It’s aligning intuition, mind, heart and body, it’s peace in the chaos, it’s a dive underwater under pouring rain.
I completed my RYS 200 with lovely teachers at “InnerSea yoga” in Costa Rica, but am on a constant journey towards expanding my yoga knowledge.
I truly imagine each Yoga class like a chapter in a book. I choose my words with great care to help spark connections with the self, and encourage stillness of the mind. I seek to help create the link between yoga within the four corners of the mat and personal expression outside of the mat.
