Taija Sillanpää is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS). She is a registered physiotherapist and has Master Degree in Health Care - specialized in health promotion. She is a Professional Teacher and has been teaching for living since 2007. She has been doing Asian style practice since 1990 and is also Cloth And Textile Designer.
She works as art and craft coordinating teacher and currently teaches all kind of craft but also yoga and meditation combined with Tibetan Singing Bowls, yoga aspect and physio-therapeutic approach. She is a Sami and lives by the arctic area in Lapland Finland. She is familiar with winter sports and has long experience with working dogs, horses and traditional lifestyle. She learnt Finnish and Tornedalen Finnish at home. She speaks also English as well as Swedish and German.
