Chris is passionate about fostering the growth, connection and healing that yoga can invoke. As a yoga teacher, she hopes to promote her students’ exploration and discovery of their unique yoga journeys. Chris fosters an accepting and supportive environment for her students to tap into their own wisdom. Yoga provides the opportunity for mind-body-spirit connection and time to nurture one’s nervous system, something Chris wholeheartedly believes we could all use in our lives. Her background working in the medical profession and vast wealth of experience with personal health challenges, enables her to adapt yoga to meet her students where they are at. She believes everyone can practice yoga in a way that is challenging, promotes growth and also feels good!
Chris is LoveYourBrain Yoga certified (specialized training in yoga for Traumatic Brain Injury), and has additional training in meditation, the anatomy of pain, the science of yoga and depression, cueing chair yoga and more. She is currently enrolled in Ajna’s Yoga Therapy Diploma Program, where she is training to become a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT). Chris is truly passionate about bringing the vast benefits of yoga to her students.
