Ekai Maramara is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS). She completed her 200HR YTT as well as Hands-on Adjusment training at AV108 Yoga School.

She is also the founder of FREEDIVE TRIBE PHILIPPINES, one of the top freediving school in Batangas. She was an Aida Certified Freediver and has crossed over as a Molchanovs Certified Freediver.

She teaches Freediving together with her husband; a Certified Freediving Instructor and they welcomes non-swimmers. Yoga is a part of their program because she believes that Yoga and freediving compliments each other. They together access a deeper space inside of you in which both requires flexibility, relaxation and meditation.

She is also the co-founder of Pinoy Freedivers, a Facebook community group for Filipino Freedivers. The groups invites fellow enthusiasts to share their dives, travels, adventures and Yoga experience.
