Miina is a versatile, passionate and very experienced yoga teacher who for decades has dealt with all elements of the world of yoga: the physical asana practice, the philosophy behind yoga, the meditative process and the language of yoga: Sanskrit.
Since 2014, Miina has taught at various yoga educations in several continents, including the role of asana-, philosophy-, anatomy- and physiology teacher.
Miina has developed the concept of hormone therapeutic yoga and is the founder of Yogioga. For a number of years, Miina has trained in yoga and meditation, among other things. in India, Burma, Thailand, Cambodia, Norway and Denmark.
Miina's background has created a yoga teacher with an extensive and in-depth knowledge of the diverse aspects of yoga. This i.a. through an early health professional education in radiography and many years of subsequent university studies in Indology, among other things, the history, philosophy of South Asia and of course the ancient scriptures such as the Vedas. In addition to these educations, Miina is a dietician and has a master's degree in health strategies.
In addition to being certified 500 E-RYT (Registered YogaTeacher), Miina has dealt with most known and practiced styles within yoga.
It is this palette of knowledge that she shares with an infectious joy and enthusiasm.
Currently, she mainly teaches yin, hatha, ashtanga and yoga for hypothyroidism (hormonal yoga background).
Miina focuses on a safe yoga practice, a practice where you as a student always feel safe and get to know your body in a new and safe way. You learn to practice in a secure way through the necessary insight into the underlying techniques, practices and philosophy.
