I have been practicing yoga since 2014, when neck pain/tension became unbearable for me due to my office job. After I left the studio that first time feeling more calm than I've felt in years and with a lot less neck pain, it was then that I fell in love with yoga.
I continued to practice on and off throughout the years and it was in 2019 that I decided to take my first yoga teacher's training, which was a 50-hour yin teacher's training at Yoga Barn in Hanover, Ontario. I loved this training and I loved the connection I made with other fellow yoga teachers.
In 2020 I decided to go for my 500-hour yoga teachers training certificate. I completed my online training through The Kaivalya Yoga Method, based out of New York. It was a very challenging course that is based on vinyasa style yoga.
Since graduating I have been teaching hatha, vinyasa, yin and more recently yinyasa style yoga classes. In the near future I am hoping to offer a variety of workshops such as: Yoga for office workers, yoga for stress and anxiety, and seasonal yin workshops, just to name a few.
I am also looking forward to becoming certified in restorative yoga in the near future. My passion for learning and teaching never ends and I want to help as many people as I can with classes that are both gentle, yet effective.
