Melanie Boyer E-RYT 500, RYS 500, YACEP
Melanie has been a student of yoga since the mid 90s and completed her first Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in Southern California in 2002. Her first trip to India in 2003 forever changed her course and since 2009 she has returned annually to India study with her teachers at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram. At the KYM she completed various trainings, including a 500 Yoga Teacher Training, Vedic Chanting Teacher Training and is currently enrolled in their Yoga Therapy Training Program. She teaches exclusively in the KYM tradition (Desikachar - Krishnamacharya).
Melanie is also on faculty at Optimal State Yoga Therapy School where she teaches classical asana, meditation and chanting as well as co teaches the 200 hour Teacher Training.
Melanie has lived in Punta de Mita, Mexico with her husband since 2004 and teaches private yoga and pilates classes.
