Max started practicing yoga in 1995. Since that time, he has been trained in many yoga styles such as Yogananda, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Integral and Bikhram-Hot yoga to mention but some. He has learned and practices Vipassana (as taught by Goenka), Zazen, and Buddhist meditation techniques. He has been secretary of the Shiva Shakti Association of Integral Yoga, where he assisted in legal and administrative work and also taught Ayurveda. He was a founding member of the Spanish National Association of Integral Yoga and a representative at the Spanish Federation of Yoga Schools.
A certified masseur in Quiromassage, Ayurveda, Hawaiian Lomi-lomi, Shiatsu, Reflexology and a certified Thai Massage Expert by the Traditional Thai Massage School, Max is researching the many links between yoga, shiatsu, and thai massage techniques. He has learned Yoga-Thai massage with Krishna Taki in Greece, Body Flow and Tantric techniques with GLS and has completed the SAT Program with the Claudio Naranjo Foundation. He has also participated in the multidisciplinary training program offered by GLS which includes neurolinguistic programming, body work, yoga, breathing work, meditation and deep relaxation, massage, tantra, behaviour, movement and dance, all with therapeutic elements to promote holistic healing. Currently, he is studying Psychology.
Max is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with an approved and active Registered Yoga School (RYS).
