Emily is inspired by all things Health. She is a naturopathic doctor and has been teaching yoga since 2013 and practicing since 2008. She completed her initial Yoga Teacher Training at The White Lotus Foundation and continued on to take Advanced Teacher Training with Jason Crandell. Her personal practice is inspired by the accessibility of yoga and largely pulls from the Ashtanga tradition and the ancient wisdom of Buddhist & Hindu philosophy.

She has a vinyasa-based teaching style that encourages introspection, mindfulness, and meeting the body with open-hearted presence in each moment. Each class focuses on grounding, strength, compassion, and breath awareness.

Emily is originally from Illinois and moved to Portland to attend medical school. She practices naturopathic medicine at her clinic, QC Natural Health, and has a particular focus on the Gut-Brain Connection & Holistic Nutrition.
