Paula first encountered meditation at the age of 12, introduced by her middle-school chemistry teacher in Bogota, Colombia. This experience sparked her fascination with the wonders of yoga and mindfulness. She has been practicing yoga for over two decades.
With a background as a Harvard-educated economist, Paula went through a period of intense burnout, which led her to a career change. She is now a 200-hour certified yoga instructor and an accredited coach with the International Coaching Federation, focusing on assisting clients through career transitions and managing severe burnout using somatic coaching techniques.
Her yoga education includes studies at the Flow Yoga Center in Washington, DC. She has also studied under Michelle Young and Judith Lasater. Paula's expertise is in slow flow, Yoga Nidra, and Restorative Yoga.
