Nicole's space holding, facilitation and teaching is inspired by the interrelationship between the physical and subtle body, the nervous system and the medicinal power of yoga. Nicole has 20 years experience as a community-based Social Service Provider for people with barriers to social determinants of health, often with complex trauma at the root. With professional and personal development in trauma-informed practices and group facilitation, Nicole is a Certified Yoga Instructor at the Experienced 200 and Registered 500hr level in the Halifax Yoga Community, along with a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider. She has studied in the US and Nova Scotia in Trauma Sensitive Yoga Intensives, with experience in serving the First Responder Population. In addition to holding space as a Social Service Provider and Yoga Instructor, Nicole brings forth an energetic component through her historical practice as a Reiki Master/Teacher, BodyTalk Practitioner and Intuitive. Incredibly human and a forever student of this gig called life, Nicole holds curious and compassionate space for people to have their own experience.
