Mary Aranas is currently registered with Yoga Alliance as a E-RYT 500, which means that she completed her 500-hour yoga teacher training at an active RYS, in this case in ISHTA Yoga with Alan Finger, in 2002.

ISHTA means "Individual" and is an acronym for Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantra, and Ayurveda. Mary's approach to Yoga for herself and others is indeed to find the ISHTA or individual needs of each yoga practitioner on each given day. Her ongoing journey as a Yogi informs her teaching. She infuses all of her learning including NonViolent Communication (NVC), Reiki, meditation and mind-body holistic studies into her yoga exploration.

Mary's specialties include Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Meditation, Yoga Nidra, AcroYoga, Thai Yoga, and Slackline Yoga. Mary is a Reiki Master, and she is a certified C-IAYT Yoga Therapist since 2017. As she continually expands her mind-body-spirit healing journey, Mary became a certified Life and Health Coach in 2022, and a Transformational Coach in 2023. She is a certified Sound Healer since 2023.
