My name is Jessica Stephenson, I am a 200HR Registered Yoga Teacher. My Doctor recommended yoga to me back in 2016, it was to help me learn to live with chronic pain after I was diagnosed with arthritis and Fibromyalgia. Soon I learned what it was like to be present in my body, and my healing journey began. Mindfulness practice was necessary to begin to heal my childhood trauma and it was yoga that brought me to the here and now. Yoga has helped me find the calm in my mind. Moving mindfully through the poses, connected to my breath, yoga has helped give me the daily reset and release that I need . That’s when I realized that I wanted to become a teacher so that I can share this with you, my community. I currently rent the Chambers Gallery at The Chilliwack Museum, located at 45820 Spadina Avenue, Chillwack, BC. This space is beautiful and a great comfortable location to have my yin yoga classes.
