My yoga journey started in 2015 - a point in my life when I felt lost and lacking direction. Towards the end of a long-term relationship, I didn't know what to do with my life and I turned to yoga and meditation, looking for answers!
I didn't really find answers for a long time. I practiced yoga a couple of times per week, and I felt great after each and every class, but my main focus was still on building my career in Marketing. I was living the Corporate Lifestyle and loving my job.
From a professional point of view, it couldn’t have gotten any better. Then in September 2018, another relationship broke down. This time, I gave myself the space to feel all the emotions that come with a break-up.
And yoga and meditation both became incredibly important for me to process all these feelings and find a new perspective. Eventually, the desire to share the benefits of yoga with others became so strong, that I left my job in February 2020, just weeks before Covid sent the world into lockdown.
I am feeling beyond lucky to have had the chance to complete two yoga teacher trainings in Rishikesh, India, over the last year to obtain my Yoga Alliance RYT500 Certification.
I am now very excited to start offering Mind + Body Yoga Classes online very soon and I hope you will join me on your mat from wherever you are in the world.
