Christina is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. She is also a Nurse Practitioner with 13 years experience in Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases, and previously worked in Microbiology. She has been trained in Clinical Hypnosis and now offers Gut-Directed Hypnotherapy at Beloved Yoga in Reston, Virginia.
Over the past few years, she has combined her knowledge of Yoga and Gastrointestinal Illness to develop a workshop called "Gut Feelings" that highlights yoga poses for digestive balance and wellness. in 2021, she presented "Yoga for Disorders of Gut-Brain Interaction at the ACG School for Functional Bowel Disorders and for the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Conference for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in Las Vegas.
Christina finds her practices nourishes both her artistic and analytic natures. She enjoys travel, hiking, and body surfing. She currently teaches Hatha Flow, Vinyasa Flow, Chair Yoga, and her workshops for Gut Health.
Christina finds inspiration for her classes in nature, science, and her practice is influenced by her prior training in ballet as well as multiple styles of Yoga that she has practiced and studied over the years.
