After many years of running, my yoga journey began in my early 30’s when I knew I needed something to balance out my high-impact workout routine. What I envisioned as a weekly “stretch session” soon turned into a daily practice. I enjoyed the flowing movements, the asana, and the way the practice made me feel in my body. Practice was a moving meditation, allowing stress and anxiety to melt away, leading to a more balanced life, both on and off the mat.
With every return to the mat, my drive to learn more about the practice increased, guiding me toward the decision to enroll in a 200-HR Yoga Teacher Training course. I earned my 200HR RYT through Napa Valley Yoga Center in the summer of 2020 and immediately began teaching in the community. In the Spring of 2021, I took the next step in my yoga journey, completing a 50HR Yin Teacher Training with Devi Daly Yoga.
To honor inclusivity in the practice, I embrace the beginner and more experienced yogi alike. My classes are composed of fun, thoughtful and sometimes challenging sequences that still allow for clear, precise instructions and multiple modifications to support everyone’s practice.
