Tamara Hickey MFA, RYT is a yoga teacher based in Western Massachusetts with a background primarily in the Ashtanga and Iyengar traditions. She uses yoga as a vehicle for helping people cultivate a clear, nonjudgmental awareness of their experience. Tamara considers postural yoga an opportunity to pay closer attention to the effects of our actions and build a greater physical and mental capacity that interrupts our habitual ways of being. She is most interested in how yoga can help us be more present with ourselves so that we can be more present in our lives.
