Jenny is a 200hr certified Vinyasa Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200), 95hr certified Registered Children Yoga Teacher (RCT), and passionate Yogi in life.
She believes that Yoga, much like other body movements, start with the building of a foundation.
By systematically guiding her students through the yoga practice with continuous focus on alignment, she allows students to get a better understanding of their own body, and build flexibility and strength.
Once the foundation, like shoulder strength, core build-up, and hip flexibility is achieved, she encourages students to to gradually work towards more complex postures.
As an advocate for a sound and mindful advancement of Asanas, she is a is a devoted and patient yoga teacher that comes from a place of understanding and compassion. Aiming to understand each student’s body limitations allows her to support the individual progress of her students.
She sees her classroom as a safe and brave space where students are encouraged to listen to their own body and practice self-awareness. With this understanding, she continuously provides posture modifications to offer suitable poses for all levels, from Beginners to Intermediate/Advanced.
Her classes guide through the Yoga poses by coordinating breath and movement, and tap into the body's potential to allow overcoming perceived limitations, release stress and calm the mind.
She has gained substantial teaching hours as well as continuous education training in:
- Pranayama 20hr (YACEP certified)
- Anatomy 20hr (YACEP certified)
as well as several hours alignment and adjustment training with Drishti Vinyasa Yoga Shala.
