Avonda Fogan (RYT 200) was first introduced to yoga in 2008 with a sole emphasis on the asana (physical) practice. In 2018, she began to experience the mind-body strengthening yoga can offer when she started a consistent daily practice and was introduced to pranayama. In June 2020, she completed the Whole Yogi 200 Teacher Training with Julia Romano and Chris Parkison where she discovered her passion for teaching others body and breath awareness to help them tap into the mental and physical benefits of the practice. She has been trained to teach all-levels vinyasa, power, yin, and restorative yoga. Avonda's intention for each class is to create a safe space of self-discovery and non-judgment for everyone.
