Steph guides mindful movement with the intention of leading her students to a place of empowerment and connection. Steph aims to create a space that we can listen inward and accept ourselves as we are moment to moment. She believes that by raising the awareness and strenghtening the relationship we have to our bodies, breath and the present moment, we can better connect to the earth, our community and our authentic self. Steph finds inspiration from the natural world, yogic philosophy and the rhythms of daily life.
Steph completed her 200hr R-YTT at Coastal Bliss Yoga with Jacky Challenger, Heidi Macpherson, Rebekka Walker and Natalie Rousseau, in March 2020. Since then, she dove deeper into facilitating meditation with Carolyn Budgell and studied Yin Yoga with Jodi Dodd. She completed her 100hr Ayurvedic Teacher Training with Melanie Phillips as well. With a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Steph incorporates her knowledge of the human body into her class planning. She plans to continue deepening her knowledge by prioritizing studentship for the rest of her life.
When Steph isn’t practicing at the studio, you’ll find her in the forest, on the beach or in the ocean. Steph currently resides in Tofino, BC, where she teaches both public and private classes on the beach or through her home studio Coastal Bliss Yoga.
