Eddieberto Sanchez, is a yoga instructor who brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and passion to the mat. Eddieberto embarked on his yoga journey in 2012 while studying bellydance in Eau Claire, WI with the belly dancing troupe PB&J. It was his first belly dancing teacher, Sheri Baemment (owner of PRAJINA Studio in Eau Claire, WI), who suggested he integrate yoga into his dance practice to enhance his skills.
Since then, Eddieberto has explored various styles of yoga, including ashtanga yoga, vinyasa yoga, power vinyasa, and gentle yoga. In 2019, during his deployment to Jalalabad Afghanistan with the Wisconsin Army National Guard and 3rd Security Force Assistance Brigade from Fort Hood Texas, Eddieberto was asked to teach a yoga class at Forward Operating Base Fenty in the chapel during his time off. This experience ignited his passion for teaching, and upon his return to Minneapolis Minnesota, he completed his 500-hour certification through My Vinyasa Yoga to become a certified yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance.
When Eddieberto is not teaching yoga, you can find him performing in belly dance routines, walking his dog Gus, hiking, gardening, or at the gym working out. His diverse background and interests bring a unique perspective to his classes, infusing them with creativity and fun.
As an ARMY veteran, Eddieberto understands the importance of physical and mental wellness, and he brings this understanding into his teaching. He creates a supportive and welcoming environment for all his students, encouraging them to explore their boundaries and challenge themselves while also respecting their bodies and limitations.
Eddieberto's dedication to yoga and his students is evident in everything he does, from his carefully crafted sequences to his genuine interest in getting to know his students. He believes that yoga is a powerful tool for transformation and growth, and he strives to share this transformative practice with everyone he teaches.
