Lisa Sims is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. She has been a fitness professional for over 30 years, with experience in teaching a variety of group fitness formats and personal training, as well. Lisa's passion for heath and wellness was sparked at a young age. She grew up competing in gymnastics and track and field, and was a member of a performing dance company that gave her the opportunity to dance in Europe. After obtaining her bachelor's and master's degrees in kinesiology, Lisa used her talents to develop and manage corporate wellness programs, and later provided personal training services to clients. She is well versed in working with clients in special populations. The mind-body work of yoga has transformed Lisa's life and she is eager to pass it on to her students who seek the same. Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and cuddling with Lincoln, her eight-pound chihuahua mix.
