Lori Roe was introduced to Hatha yoga through self-study and classes in the Baltimore/Washington area during the 70's. She attended Kundalini classes and participated in White Tantric Workshops in Herndon, VA. She participated in workshops and intensives at Unity Woods, MD. inspired to complete a yoga certification course through Columbia Yoga Center in 1991 with a focus on Iyengar style. She began teaching classes in southern Delaware. In 2001, she fulfilled requirements to become registered with Yoga Alliance (RYT200). Since then, she has continued to expand her experiences by attending a variety of yoga classes, workshops, and conferences with master yoga teachers. Following her path of a more integrated, holistic approach in teaching yoga, Lori was led to study with Jenny Otto, Structural Integrator and completed Advanced Teacher Training (RYT500) at Body Balance Yoga. She began practicing aerial yoga as a creative way to extend beyond mat yoga practice and completed Vaihayasa aerial training beginner and advanced in 2014. Most recently, she has participated in training for chair yoga. She currently enjoys teaching yoga classes in southern Delaware.
