Ayla found yoga in 2016 when she was training for her second marathon. Originally a way of cross-training and correcting hip imbalances, she quickly became enamored with the grace and calm yoga gave her both during and after runs. She earned her RYT 200 in April 2020 at the Triad Yoga Institute.
Ayla brings both endurance and lightness to her classes (and some terrible puns), focusing on moving with the breath and body awareness. She concentrates on functional strength and flexibility, especially for athletes, providing an accessible approach for all levels. Her goal is to help you believe in yourself on the mat and take that power into all aspects of your life. She loves vin-yin, pho, a good book, and inclusivity.
