I am a New York City native, yoga teacher and certified corporate wellness specialist with a passion for sharing simple techniques to manage stress, heal from trauma and improve range of motion. I started out teaching yoga on rooftops in Harlem during summer evenings and weekends and have since taught thousands! After 8 years of teaching yoga-based workshops and class on my free time after working as a Legal Recruiter for some of NYC’s top law firms and advocacy groups I just knew it was time for me to go all in, trust the process and serve humanity at a higher level.
Yoga helped me cultivate a deeper awareness of what was working and what wasn’t in my body, mind and life and ultimately gave me the tools I needed to manage my stress levels and take action towards a better version of me. This included everything from building a regular Ashtanga yoga and meditation practice to daily journaling and being more conscious of my nutrition, self-talk, and mindset.
After practicing yoga consistently and becoming more self-aware I started noticing that:

• My body was becoming leaner, more flexible, strong and balanced
• I felt calmer, more compassion and connected to others more than ever before!
Now, I get to share all of those benefits with yogis around the world. You can join my sessions as you are, no prior yoga or meditation experience is necessary. You’ll leave class feeling more clear minded, balanced, calm & confident – ready to take on the day after a quick reset. My balanced, supportive & empowering teaching style leaves students feeling empowered and more aware in of their body, mind and life.
I earned my 200-hour certification from PURE yoga and received my 300-hour certification with Colleen Saidman Yee & Rodney Yee of Yoga Shanti in Sag Harbor. I am also certified in Trauma Informed Yoga & Somatic Experiencing® through Collective Resilience and graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from the State University of New York at Oswego.

Beyond yoga I love...going to the park with my son, beaches, crystal jewelry & décor, group fitness classes - from west African dance to HIIT classes at Barry’s Bootcamp and celebrating birthdays and holidays with family and friends!
